Z.C. of Sinnar State announced it will implement service programs and the end of this month which includes poor and needy ownership of productive means at a cost of one million pounds. "These projects are aimed at promoting development and stability for citizens of the State.

" Said Al-Khair yusif Nur-Al-Deen the Z.C. of Sinnar State Trustee. Headded that the development programs which implemented by Z.C. has a major shift in the State and led to settlement of the nomads as for Abu Qurud dam which led to raise the value of agricultural projects from (15) thousand pounds to (120) thousand pounds. He announced that Z.C. is studing the expansion of the dam by increasing its hight until enough water is stored till the rainy season. He also reaffirmed the completion of work in Duba dam which links the West and East banks of Al-Dindir river to store water in an area of 35 km for the cultivation of fruits and vegetables. He continued that Z.C. will implement a water canal on East and West banks of Al-Dindir river at a cost of 3,100.000 pounds in order to change traditional agriculture into irrigated system. He also pointed out that Z.C. carried out of (40) hand pumps in cooperation with UNICEF, and implemented (10) water reservoirs in areas where there is no water service, in particular Moya Mountain. He mentioned that Z.C. will implement a number of water reservoirs in the Western region of Abu-Hujar locality."Z.C. is sponsoring (1450) orphans in a sort of monthly salaries, and also sponsoring (1600) university student". He Said and added "in health insurance Z.C. covers 20% of Sinnar State through 29,500 families or about 200,000 individuals. Also Z.C. council of Trustees has approved the provision of Month of Ramadan needs to more than (45,000) families. He added that Z.C. has established (82)  cooperative agricultural societies by purchasing of (81) tractors and (111) plows. Z.C. in order to deliver its services to poor and needy has established 1173 grassroots committees. He announced that Z.C. collection of Zakat has mounted to 64% by collecting 19,7 million pounds out of 31 million that approved  by Trustees council. He  also mentioned  that Z.C. has distributed more than (8) million pounds to different Zakat recipents which amounts to 93% of  Zakat total jibayah  (collection)  and also Z.C. honored Quranic schools with amount of (616,000) pounds. The Trustee assured the coordination and integration with federal Zakat department in national programs.
