The president of the Republic representative prof-Ahmmad Ali Al-Imam the president Adviser of rooting has praised the role of Zakat chamber (Z.C.) and (H.I.Z.C.) in the community and urged participants to work for the interest of the people as Islam calls for.

"Fighting poverty is not restnicted to Z.C. only ,but others should play their role in this regard) said prof .Ahmmad when he addressed the opening session of the  regional workshop for African Zakat institutions, which opened today at the Friendship Hall in Khartoum with the participation of seventeen African countries and the presence of a number of Ministers and Ambassadors. He pointed out that the future coming is for Islam, and praising the considerable participation in the workshop.
"The Sudanese Z.C. has fabricated a flexible , modern and responsive Figh (jurisprudence) to the require ments of the times and never be separated from the constants and principles of stable Figh " Said Ms. Samia Ahmmad Ministers of Social welfare, women , and children Affairs . She described the Sudanese Zakat trial that opened up wide prospects of reform in society where poverty has hit a wide segments of it and creates a gap between poor and rich . She pointed to the need of Zakat institutions to play a positive role in absorbing the global financial crisis. She expressed the hope that the world benefits from the experience of Zakat in the Sudan and expands of dialogue in this field."The Sudanese Z.C. is implementing     Allah Guidance's and his prophet's traditions through Zakat Act and allowing development of provisions and extrapolation of the situations.

For his part, Sheikh Salieh Kamel praised the Sudanese trial, and described as a unique and built on scientific grounds and is consistent with spirit of the times . He described Zakat as a tool which prevents poverty, and eliminates unemploy ment,  and  he called for Zakat application in Muslims countries.
"The Zakat vessel in the Sudan has reached 52% and there are 48% outside the Zakat vessel'' Said prof Al-Fandnice the Zakat Trustee General, and he pointed out that the Zakat collection in the year 2008 was 198 million U.S. dollars
The reprehensive of participated delegations Samie praised the Sudanese trial and called for the development of Zakat operations and benefit from the experiences of other countries.
